Terms

Formation Lane publishes general information. It is not a client relationship, not legal or tax advice, and not an offer of securities or credit.

Page dated 16 September 2026

These terms govern use of https://formationlane.com. The publisher is Formation Lane LLC. Contact: formationlane@agentmail.to.

By using the site, the reader agrees to these terms. If that is not acceptable, do not use the site.

Information, not advice

Pages describe public filing procedures, published fees, and product categories. They are not legal advice, tax advice, investment advice, or a credit decision. They are not a substitute for a CPA or an attorney licensed in the reader’s state. No attorney-client, accountant-client, or fiduciary relationship is created by reading, emailing, or following a link.

Nothing on the site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security, or an offer of credit. Card, bank, and brokerage products are issued by the named (or category) institutions on their own terms. Apply on the issuer’s site.

No professional engagement

Formation Lane does not form entities for readers, does not file annual registrations for readers, does not act as registered agent, and does not custody assets.

Accuracy and dates

Fees and program rules change. Each guide dates its facts and lists sources. The publisher can still be wrong, late, or incomplete. Confirm the figure on the official page before paying a secretary of state or signing an issuer application.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Georgia law, Formation Lane LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its pages. The site is provided as a free publication. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions the limitation applies only as far as the law allows.

Intellectual property

Site copy, layout, and the Formation Lane wordmark are the publisher’s. Official source documents linked from guides remain the property of the agencies and issuers that published them. Quoting a fee from Georgia.gov or the IRS does not make Formation Lane a state or federal actor.

Outbound links

Links to eCorp, IRS.gov, Interactive Brokers, and other third parties leave this site. Their terms apply. How Formation Lane is paid is described on How we make money.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes that can be brought in court is in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, except where a mandatory consumer venue rule says otherwise.
