Formation Lane is a publisher. As of 28 August 2026 there are no live affiliate links and no advertising insertions. Any future paid link will be disclosed next to the link. Rankings are not sorted by commission.
US advertising law treats a paid relationship between a publisher and an advertiser as a material connection. It has to be disclosed in plain language, near the recommendation, not only in a footer. This page is the standing policy. Money pages also carry a short version above the fold.
What is live as of 28 August 2026
- No affiliate network applications have been submitted by this publisher for the products discussed on this site.
- No tracking URLs, impact.com / CJ / ShareASale redirects, or “/go/” outbound links exist on the site.
- No display advertising is sold.
- No sponsored posts are sold.
- Interactive Brokers’ CPC Publisher Program is described because it is a public publisher track. Formation Lane is not in that program as of this date. The IBKR page linked from the brokerage guide is IBKR’s own program page, without tracking parameters.
Until that changes, the honest sentence is: Formation Lane is not paid when a reader opens a bank account, a brokerage account, or a card.
What may exist later
A publisher covering entities, cash accounts, brokerages, and business cards will eventually have paid relationships or it will fold. If and when Formation Lane joins a program:
- This page will be updated with the network or direct program, dated.
- Each paid link will sit next to a short disclosure, not only a sitewide banner.
- The link will go through the network’s tracking because that is how the program works — it will not be dressed up as a naked issuer URL.
- Unpaid firms will remain labeled unpaid. They will not be dropped from a list to make a paid firm look like the only option.
Rankings and commissions
There are no live commissions, so there is nothing to sort by. The editorial rule for later is the same: a ranking table, if one appears, will not silently follow the payout. “Payable to publishers” is a labeled fact on the brokerage guide. It is not a quality score.
What this publisher does not take
- Payment for a specific placement that is not disclosed as advertising.
- Free accounts or waived fees that are not disclosed.
- Crypto, consumer travel-card, or 0% funding-arbitrage programs.
